I’ve been having a fruit fly problem for a couple of weeks, but set up various traps and now only have a couple of flies flying around. Much to my chagrin, they bred and now I actually found the maggots. I’ve cleaned up everything I could think they were using to breed and eat but still have the maggots. I tried spraying raid ant and roach killer and raid flying insect on them but didn’t have any luck with that. Any advice on how to deal with the maggots would be great, especially before they become flies.
On another note, it seems like the flies are breeding (initially anyway) in the drain tube the leads to my refrigerator. Admittedly, I don’t use the fridge a lot, so I will see dead flies on the bottom when I open it after a while. If anyone has any advice for this issue, that would also be welcome.
Thank you so much!
