Mouse/rats poison, pet friendly?
Post Body

I live in an old house, over 110 years old. It’s normal to see the odd mouse every once in awhile because there’s so many places to get in.

This winter it seems we have a mouse PROBLEM. Then the other morning my dog caught a rat. I was so absolutely disgusted and horrified.

They’ve out smarted my traps they get the food off without setting the trap. I typically use peanut butter. I don’t want to set live traps, and the sticky traps are so horrible.

With it being right after Christmas I can’t afford to hire an exterminator. Working on saving money to have it done.

In the mean time….I’m thinking the next step is poison. I have a dog and cat in the house. I’m worried if I poison the mice, my pets will find one and try to eat it, then get sick. I’ve been told there’s a pet friendly option? I
