Random questions regarding chemical residuals

My grill cover had been hanging outside on a chair for a week or two now. Today I went to shake it out to cover the grill and there was a wasps nest in there. I sprayed it using a wasp freeze.
I was just curious if I would ever be able to reuse the grill cover or if I should just toss it.
I was going to let it sit out until the chemical is totally dried then I was going to rinse it off
