I'm moving to Perth from NSW in 3 weeks for my job, and I've literally never lived in another state so I don't know how they do the things that I imagine we do weirdly. If anyone has an answer to these questions or knows where I can find them that would be incredibly helpful.
• What is public transport like? My job is in Canning Vale and I'm looking for a place to rent but I don't know how hard or easy it is to get around there
• What are good but cheap neighbourhoods? I'm on my own and will have a single (but full-time) wage, so I don't want to be spending all of my money on rent and living on 2-minute noodles
• How hard is it to get your drivers license? Due to trauma I never got it when I was younger, and now I literally can't get my license over here in time so I'll have to get it very early on. I'm 26 if that helps with any of the laws surrounding it
Thank you so much, you're all fantastic even if you can't help me. I'm excited to be able to call WA home and see what your city has in store for me.
