So after advice from my previous post to see a GP to get a MRI scan these are my results from the scan.
C5/C6: Left paracentral disc bulge slightly flattens the left aspect of the spinal cord. Annular fissure noted. Moderate left sided neuroforaminal canal narrowing with the exiting left C6 nerve root contacting disc. C6/C7: Left paracentral disc protrusion flattens the left aspect of the spinal cord and leads to moderate left neuroforaminal canal narrowing and contacts the exiting left C7 nerve root and mild right neuroforaminal canal narrowing.
I am now waiting to get a consult from a spinal surgeon after seeing the GP, I’m really shot scared that I will have to get surgery witch I really hope there’s other alternatives before that’s a possibility, has anyone had this sort of thing before? Can other methods be done first?
