Hey all

We have just sailed to the Perth area and looking to go anchor at Carnac Island tomorrow. I hear the seals are super friendly.

Looking at the WA parks website it says the island is closed to the end of the month. Of course, because it’s a weekend, we can’t call them to ask questions, so have to ask here.

Are we allowed to anchor but not go to land or is anchoring prohibited as well?

Trust me, with the reported number of tiger snakes there, don’t think we would ever go to land.

Hopefully someone has clear guidance for us
