I’m a newly qualified PT and I want to dedicate a good chunk of my time in the week to research and learning in the field / the world of health and fitness.
I’m taking on a couple of CPD courses but I was wondering if anyone here had any recommendations for good, reliable sources of info. Could be articles, YouTube channels, books, specific reputable people etc. I’m open to anything - just very eager to learn, stay up to date and improve as a trainer.
I feel like social media has really muddied the waters on who you can trust! I follow the work of Layne Norton and Jeff Nippard and I’m currently reading Ultra Processed People by Dr Chris Van Tulleken. All very interesting and science / study based - they feel safe.
Thanks in advance from a budding PT

Yeah, do your research. There are popular social media influencers who pump out absolute bullshit and the average joe doesn't know any better, hell even TAFE (Cert III takes 18 weeks to become qualified, Cert IV is roughly the same) doesn't go through that kind of Anatomy either.
One of them actually had the fucking audacity to say the Shoulder Joint doesn't have a cavity - I called him out on that and got no response.

Hmm, I'd like to learn about injuries or clinical relevance e.g Colles Fracture, Winged Scapula, clients complaining about patella pain and what exercises would be the go-to etc, would any of those resources cover that by chance?
