Full time work and being a PT

Post Body

hey all, I am currently working full time 9-5 office job which I feel secure in. I am studying to be a PT in Australia and just wanted some general advice and tips.

How do you balance working full time and then being a PT on the side? Are you mainly doing classes or single 1-on-1? Do you work out of a gym or??

Excited to be a PT but just would love some advice or guidance balancing the two!

Thank you

Yeah do get this, I guess that’s trade off that I’ll have to live with. Unfortunately not in a situation to leave work at the moment as I am comfortable at my desk job but hey at some stage I’ll have to take a leap but just not yet haha

I am fortunate that I get to WFH and live near a gym so if life goes according to plan (wishful thinking) then yeah could do those early morning and late night sessions. Thank you very much for that

That’s unreal mate, definitely something that I’m looking at doing. And you’d enjoy being a PT so it’s never really feels like work so we will take that hah

How did you find those 10 hours as a PT? Were you working split days like before and after your office job? And did you find the money you earnt covered your expenses like rent (I assume you may have had to pay rent to work in a gym)
