Suggestions for opening DEMAT account

I am s recent NRI, and need suggestions on opening a DEMAT account. I do have a DEMAT account with Aditya Birla Money, but they want personal assets to be verified by embassy or notary as a requirement to convert resident account to NRI. Is there any organization which would have a simpler onboarding process?
