Hello Reddit, I was hoping for advice on things I can do to start prepping for my future, both short and long term. I recently got 64k in insurance money that I’m wanting to use wisely. I’ve opened a savings account to put the majority of it into, as well as a Roth IRA that I’ve contributed 6k to.
Right now I only make 16 an hour as a cook at a small restaurant, which is not enough to rent on my own, but I don’t know how to get a better income job as I’ve been in the food industry for 4 years. I want to make the most out of what I have available to me, any help would be appreciated.
