So my current cc balance is just over 9k at 20%.
I’m paying 2-3x the minimum.
My take home pay is 2700
My job said I could take out a 6k loan @5% from my retirement that I could pay back monthly at 140 for a couple years.
And I got another 2500 in savings.
Would it be smart to pay off my card with the loan and just pay the low payment? I know I’m just going from one percentage to another.
My current expenses are : Water bill 150 Car 335 Storage & extra 416 Rent: 600 Other expenses: 600 Groceries : 100
I can do the small loan for 5 yrs to make the payment like 150 a month and I can pay all my extra cash to that while staying on top of my card and once my car is paid off throw that at the little loan too.
I’m also working on selling somethings on like Poshmark and such and I’ve cut out most of my expenses and eating out the past month or two.
