Affording a Family- how to do long term?
Post Body
My wife and I make probably 140k total a year. We used to make 180k total, but she had to step back working a ton for some medical issues for our youngest (she works 12 hour shifts- nurse). We have a nice home and two cars and two boys. (3 and 1)
Our savings has dwindled, we put things on a credit card (that we can’t pay off in full each month, more than minimum payment).
Groceries are so expensive, mortgage, cars, life, but everything seems almost like it’s skyrocketed. Used to feel pretty secure now we don’t , financially. Not close to broke or anything but every month getting tight. Anyone else feel this way? More just looking to see if it’s the same in the state of the world right now
