Credit cards: if account owner dies, can additional users keep the account?
Post Body

Does anyone know what happens when the primary account holder of either an Amex or Chase credit card dies, and there is an additional authorized user? My husband died last week, and for simplicity with autobills etc. Iā€™d like to keep the same accounts. I am an authorized user on both, but if I had to prove creditworthiness I could. They just never asked when I became an additional user.

I appreciate any light anyone could shed on this. Thank you.
