Job Change Before Getting Mortgage
Post Body

My husband and I were pre-approved for a home loan, but since then, I was offered another, better paying job. I started this job the first week of this month, with some overlap with my previous job We're about to start the closing process on a house and will be applying for a mortgage soon. I was at my previous job about two years, but with my new job, I changed industries (I've gone from a baker to a legal assistant) but I am making more money and have a stable work schedule now. I know it isn't ideal to switch jobs while you're in the home buying market, but it is what it is.

Will my job charge negativity affect the process?
