Filing versus being claimed as a dependent?
Post Body

Iā€™m (21F) a full time student and part time cashier who is currently being claimed as a dependent. Are there any benefits to filing my own taxes or is better to keep being claimed as a dependent? I live in CA and also received a substantial amount of unemployment this year, if that makes any difference. Thank you for the advice!
