Health Insurance & Direct At-Home Testing
Post Body

I have a high deductible health plan and have been using services like Everlywell and let'sgetchecked over the past year due to Covid-19 and avoiding the doctors office. As I understand it, these companies do not charge insurance, you just pay directly in all cases, which is fine and their costs are reasonable.

My question is, do these tests apply to my insurance deductible? How do I get my insurance company to recognize they apply to my deductible? Is there a way to be reimbursed out of network for these kinds of tests?

Any help is appreciated, let me know if I need to explain further if I didn't make sense.
