I’m a college student and use BankMobile for my regular finances, e.g. direct deposit, spending, saving, etc. There are sometimes things that BankMobile can’t do that can feel limiting. One example is that you can’t put their cards on your phone’s mobile pay; similarly, they just aren’t available as an option for a lot of things. Things like CashApp and Venmo are other examples, although I know CashApp works if you put your info in manually. They just aren’t widely supported, it seems:(
One thing I really wanted was an app to help me budget my finances. BankMobile isn’t supported on ANY budgeting app, and it’s no surprise that BankMobile isn’t supported on something. I like everything about them, like the no fees, great customer service, ability to take out money in cash, etc.
Does anyone have any other bank recommendations? Some of the major banks simply have too many fees, and I feel like I should at least be wary of other online banks and hear from people before just opening with any of them.
Thanks!
