Now I realize after the fact that I should’ve used paypal for the buyer protection. Hindsight is 20/20 so I don’t need that lecture.
My issue is that I was hit with a scam that left me $70 lighter. It was paid through cashapp. I immediately requested a refund after having sent it due to new information that led me to believe it was a scam. The refund request was denied. I reached out to cashapp and they refuse to do anything about it. I reached out to my bank about trying to do a chargeback since it’s a scam. They say they can’t do anything until the payment clears since it’s still processing.
What are my odds of getting my $70 back? Is there anything I can do that I haven’t mentioned here? Help! Thanks in advance!
