Hi all,

I’m a self employed US citizen to who has been living and working in Germany since 2002. I haven’t filed US taxes since 2009. An accountant informed me that the IRS can only go back six years, so I am looking into filing my taxes 2013 to the present.

I intend to file these taxes myself. I have never earned nearly enough to pass the threshold amount that requires me to pay US taxes, so all I need to file is a 1040 and a 2555 form.

Can anyone recommend an online tax service that I can use for this? Otherwise, I would download the forms from the IRS site, fill them out and mail them in myself.

Also, what kind of penalties can I expect due to filing so late?

Thank you all.
