I’ve been at my current job for 20 years and I’ve decided to make a change. I haven’t accepted an offer yet but I have 5 opportunities where I’ve had 2-3 interviews and 2 of which are flying me out to view their facilities (I’m a plant manager for a manufacturing company). My question is if/when I accept an offer how much of my bonus and 401 k distribution am I entitled to at my present job. The 401k is based off of company performance regardless of what I contribute, and the bonus is pretty small in comparison to friends/family because of this. Between both it averages about 17% of my gross each year.
