Claiming daughter on taxes

Not sure if it's too early or if this is enough information for an answer but we are in Texas if that helps. My daughter's mom only held employment for one month this year (2019) and was paid probably more or less than $1K. She's wanting to know when it comes time for taxes, to maximize refund would it be better for me to claim our daughter (been employed since April and will probably make less than $12K for 2019) We're not together, seperate houses but we do file single head of houseehold. She might get a part time job later. Can anyone give me insight. Thanks
