buying a car/possibly cars, want to do this the best way
Post Body

I have a 2016 hyundai, my husband has a 2008 chevrolet. We are already planning on purchasing him a car whether new or used. The issue is that we are expanding our fur family and they will not all fit in my current car. I am just over halfway through paying off my car, his has been paid off for quite some time.

He really wants a new truck, but it does not fit our needs if I do not also buy a larger vehicle, probably midsize SUV.

So, I know when the dealerships send those mailers out it is really just a way to get you into the dealership to buy a new car and for them to make more money off of you.

But is there any way for me to use this to my advantage? I understand I would be starting over with a new loan, I am ok with that as we need to extra space. Will the car dealership really be able to work with me so that my new payment is similar to my old payment? I have a pretty good credit score, above 750.

What should I do walking in?
