This is long and detailed. I have a delimma I need help solving. Here are the details... you may need a pen and paper to follow along lol. We are preparing to buy a home in about 6 months and we have veeeeery little debt compared to most people our age (30 and 31)... Less than $2000 in credit card debt and about $17000 remaining for a truck we bought back in 2016 and $2100 for a SUV we got in 2013. Aside from that, we have no other debts. I have about $10500 across 4 savings accounts that I have worked super hard to get to. I have one account in particular that I have a goal of 2 month's income set for and that is only about halfway to that goal. My husband just got a new position where he will be making about $700 more per month than his current job (yay!). We intend to continue living as we are and taking that extra income (probably an extra $500ish after taxes come out) and putting it in savings and towards debt. All the info given.. aside from the truck, our total combined debt is about $4100. Should I bite the bullet and pay it all off (car and 2 credit cards) now with my savings or pay it down as we have been? I'm concerned about my car because when my student loan account closed after I paid it off, it seemed to negatively affect my credit score temporarily. I dont want to pay it off right before buying a home, which I'm scheduled to do, and have my score drop because of it. I figure 6 months is more than enough time for it to even out again, but I hate dipping in to savings even with knowing we can bounce back quite easily with the extra income and our tax return when it comes. The credit cards I dont want to pay on too long bc of the interest rates being at 14ish percent each. Its wasted money, but its money coming out of that hard earned savings as opposed to paying it down with our budgeted bill money. My issue is that the future isnt guaranteed... so spending savings gives me anxiety, but I really want to set us up well to buy a home... What would you do? What do you feel is the best route to take? My husband is no help because he is clueless when it comes to money management. Thanks of you've made it this far

Edited to add that we are using a VA loan to purchase so we dont need to save for a down payment
