Credit score took major hit because my mom cancelled auto-payments on one of my student loans. They are telling me I need to forbear the loan while they submit some kind of request to undo the credit hits, is this true or will my credit score be reverted once I pay everything off?
Post Body
Total noob when it comes to personal finance. I my mom had assumed she paid off a loan and it has been negatively impacting my credit score. I dont have much credit history so this alone has lowered my score almost 100 points. Do I really need to forbear the loan? What would happen if I just paid of the loan in full so I dont get another month worth of interest stacking up against me?
