I worked very little in 2016 as a sole proprietor. Need advice on filing my taxes.
Post Body

I quit my job in January and decided to work for myself. I ended up breaking up with my fiance in March and traveled for about 7 months. A few jobs I did, I got paid cash.

Job #1: $1600 on a 1099-misc $1600 in cash (mostly for travel/lodging reimbursements)

Job #2: $820 (check from business)

Job #3: $190 (check from business)

Job #4: $800 (check from business)

So I only made $5010 for the year. I didn't save any work related receipts but could find my plane tickets for some of these. What is my best route to chalk 2016 as a shitty year?

For some GOOD news, I started my own business and it is doing great so far.

Thank you! I leave tomorrow for the weekend but plan doing my taxes Sunday night when I get back.
