PF, is there anything I need to know about buying a new car in a different state from where I reside?

I'm in the market for a new truck and the price of exactly what I want in my state is significantly more then the state of texas. Doing the math it would be cheaper to fly out and drive one home then go to the dealership down the street.
Question is. Are there any pitfalls I need to be weary of? I understand buying new is not always the best case but I plan to use this truck for atleast 20 years before I let it go. And have saved up accordingly with no outstanding debt to my name.
