Hey guys, I will start off and admit that I am mostly at fault for not handling this better. My previous job that I worked at, which is when I couldn't pay the payments (chose car/insurance) over phone, shafted me on hours despite promises of getting them. I eventually leave and get a new job a month later. I now have enough bank rolled to entirely pay off Verizon and today I went to contact them to pay it off and I've been shipped off to a collection agency despite never being notified of this.
My question is, can I somehow pay my bill directly to Verizon even if they have sent it to a CA? I'm willing to pay the full thing because it's my fault, I just seem sketched out by the CA from stories I've read online. Thanks guys for any help!
