Post Body

Hi guys. Iā€™m moving to the US in two weeks. Have a brother and his family out in Chicago, so going to make that my home base for now. Iā€™m bringing along 42k $, which is everything I have. How much should I be allocating to say, buying a car? Should it be new or old? How much can I expect to be dishing out on rent for a one or two bedroom? Should I be looking for a 6 month or year long arrangement on that? How much money should I put in, say, buying stocks OR a high yield saving account, or something similar to this? Any and all advice is welcome on how I should be going about things. Really appreciate it.
