Seeking help - I wanted to raise my credit score by getting new cards, but it has done the opposite
Post Body

Hey everyone! I have slowly built credit over the years and was riding around 720. A wedding and other financial issues rose my balances and it took a hit. I, for the most part, paid cards down and thought it would be best to extend my available credit by virtue of getting more cards. It has given me higher available credit (which I’m pretty certain is a good thing) but it made my credit younger and I believe that has negatively effected my credit score. I can’t seem to get it over 660. It’s only been a few months but I’m sweating it because we want to buy a house by the end of the year. Does anyone have any tips how to get my score back in track?
