Help! Trying for a new construction loan. Any advice is appreciated!
Post Body

So here is my situation. We sold our house last year to start building our forever home. We currently live with my parents which is right down the road from our property (we live in Indiana if that matters at all) I own and operate a small swimming pool company and I am the only source of income for my family. I currently owe around 30k on my truck and that is the only debt I have. My credit score is around 730ish and I was wondering how I could get that to grow before January when I try to get approved for my loan? I do have 1 credit card with a $600 limit that I never use. Should I try to get another credit card? Any tips are appreciated. The bank doesnโ€™t really want to work that much with me since I own a small business so I want my score to be as high as possible. We are wanting to build around a 750k home. We currently have 150k saved for a down payment and own 8 acres of land free and clear. Thank you in advance for any help!
