Hi everyone, I was laid off in November I’ve managed to stay afloat with part time work and unemployment, and child support. My savings are not enough to keep me going like this. I accepted a position where I have to be in clinic and my family is unable to help like they did when I worked remote and could manage my hours. I have no childcare and dad is refusing to help pay for it. I have to work to pay bills and survive. I need to have him in daycare until the fall when he starts full day school. However the issue is my new job isn’t enough to cover my living expenses and daycare. I know there is a 10% penalty to withdraw from my 401K but when I looked it up it mentioned that tuition for college is approved but I am not sure if childcare falls under an umbrella. I really don’t want to withdraw money from my 401K but I don’t have an option unless I want to remain unemployed which isn’t an option for me.
I don’t think that’s possible. Contract is already signed and it increases anyways over the next few months.
I actually do not qualify because the gross income with the new job is over by $200 a month for my states program.
