When I was 18 I was financially responsible. Got a car shortly after it got towed stolen and totaled. I was in completely different state. Didn’t even know about it until six months after didn’t get no police report. Nothing don’t even know where it got totaled can’t get information on it now here I am now with $10,000 of debt to a credit union in collections. What can I do? The car is only worth three grand now sadly. Can I roll over that negative to equity into a new car loan without having my old car? Can I talk to the collections and get the price reduction. I have a savings through debt relief program to pay this off but the collection wants one full payment. I need help figuring this out.
