Hello!
I was wondering if anyone here has experience with being a ‘1099 employee’ in Social Work related area. I recently got offered a position as a ‘Non-licensed professional’ , basically doing services such as Supervision, Supervised visits , and MDT attendance for CPS related cases .
They have a set pay rate for service your offering ( no set hours) but i’m wondering if it would even be close to worth it? I have to pay for fingerprinting and apparently get a business license . I know there are a whole bunch of extra taxes and stuff you have to deal with .
Has anyone ever done something like this??
