So I’ve had a bs bank called chime for like 3 years and I just opened a citizens bank personal checking account like mid July. Because I hate not being a able to drive to my bank and actually have an in person branch. Fast forward to now I just deposited my work check in the citizens for the first time(normally chime never had a problem with it before). And it was put on hold. So the next day I called the bank because originally it said my funds would be available the next day, so when I spoke to the rep they told me it was flagged for suspected fraud… it’s a payroll check written to me that I get from my employer atleast 2/3 a month that I’ve never had an issue cashing before. So that’s odd I know the check isn’t fake because the employer is a relative so I’m kinda loss for words here any advice on what do here? Obviously have to wait until the hold releases but I was reading similar situation and people get there accounts locked and have to deal with battling with banks just to get their funds back.
