Received a bill after my lease ended.
Post Body

I received an itemized list of charges orchestrated by my former landlord company which of course surpassed my security deposit value. The notice said I owe them $106, most of the charges I understand except one.

When i moved out I contacted all of my utility company's which are tied to my name and my property and canceled my services given no one would be living in the until for the remaining 20 days. I have sense been charged a fee for "early utility cancelation" and it has charged me $8 for every day till the end of that month.

Is this acceptable in most jurisdictions?

And if so/not what would you advise I do?
