Buying a new car from a tired one
Post Body

Hey folks,

So I’m just wondering on when is the BEST point to buy a new vehicle. Now, I know that the market is 💩 right now (from what I hear but I really don’t know). I’m 24 and started a new career. I have some personal debt (5k on a credit line and a student loan) but I’m knocking those down quite quickly as we speak.

I’ve been driving junk cars for a while and have paid thousands in just registration taxes and buying the cars and selling them because they’re not reliable or they’re just getting old. But for this job I have to be at work and I have to have a reliable vehicle and obviously newer has its perks. My current car is tired and I don’t think dumping more money into it is a smart idea because it’ll cost the same to fix as I did to pay for it and I’ve only had it since august.

Just looking for some advice

Thank you !
