Graduating at 35 with PhD in Engineering and no savings. What do I need to do to still retire ?
Post Body

I have 10k saved in a retirement fund from an old job and I won't have any university debt because I've been on scholarships.

It's looking like my salary will be between 150-200K but will grow with experience .

However, Im also about to marry my gf, buy a home/ car and have children asap.

Gf's salary is pretty minimal, maybe 30k a year.

It just scares me seeing everyone here saying "30 years old with 50 k in savings" when I have none.

Any tips on how much I should be putting away for retirement while I still want to actually start my family so late in life?

I haven't bought anything yet. Thank you all
