Whenever I feel depressed & try to keep the curtains closed I can count on Max to be a light in a time of darkness.

Little moments like this I really appreciate this little ball of fluff. I’m not gonna lie I’ve been having a bad couple of days mentally & just have been in bed overthinking constantly. This cat has given me the strength to get up & simply take a shower when I didn’t want to as crazy as that sounds. Also knowing that this beautiful creature depends on me to survive & needs me to be my best self in order to care for him motivates me to get up & be more active. It’s definitely a seasonal depression type thing but I am so grateful for finding Max I never knew I could love a cat so much I was actually afraid of them as a child so he means a lot to me.
