I cured my PD with Selsun Blue

I thought this may help someone else, since I haven’t seen any posts in this subreddit about using selsun blue (1% selenium sulfide) shampoo as a face mask. I had a strong feeling my PD was fungal, as I’m prone to yeast infections since I was young. I started using an anti fungal cream and it was slightly helping me, but not enough for me to feel satisfied. My derm ended up prescribing my doxy. Before I started on the doxy, I decided to try out a selsun blue face mask, as I use it on my body for Candida rashes and it works very well. I never had to take doxy. I apply the shampoo to my wet face for 1 minute and then rinse it off, once a day. The first time I used this, my skin immediately felt better, so if it’s going to work for you you’ll know basically right away. Every single day my PD looks better, and it’s about 90% gone now. The selsun blue has been helping the acne on the rest of my face on top of it all. After the selsun blue mask, I apply an OTC anti fungal cream, no moisturizer as my PD really needs to be dried out to go away. I’m telling you guys, my skin is looking SO much better. Dare I say better than ever? I hope this helps someone else, and I’m curious if anyone else has had success with selsun blue as well!
