I’ve been to the ER three times in the last week and a half. All my blood work comes back normal, Troponin has been checked four times and is steady, DDeimer is elevated, but they said they expected that with tachycardia, CT scans showed no chest blood clots, chest xray is normal, gallbladder was normal.
Still having heart pain, chest pain, chest tightness, shortness of breath (I’m winded just having conversation), dizziness, faint feeling, brain fog, nausea occasionally and tachycardia that needed to be controlled with a different medication after years on the same.
They gave me an ant-inflammatory this last time (with new Metoprolol) and this seems to help a bit…I’ve also been combining with advil.
I feel like this is pericarditis, but I can’t get into the cardiologist to find out. I’ve had my appointment booked since early Jan for other reasons and the soonest available back then was 2/27. I’ve called twice to explain I’ve been to the ER three times and suspect pericarditis and they won’t let me see the PA and tell me I have the earliest appointment available and to keep checking if someone cancels/reschedules.
I’ve had to call out of work all week because I feel so bad. This is bananas.
Has anyone else been experiencing having issues getting into see a doctor??
