During the past months of living in Pandemia, I have been sustained and inspired by a few wonderful letter-writing relationships. I'm looking for some more correspondents to add to my rotation.
My letters are more the conversational, revealing sort, rather than the stickered-and-washi-taped variety, but I will be thrilled to receive whatever mail you care to send. I can promise handwritten, thoughtful, responsive letters.
I'm a 43-year-old woman living in the northwest corner of the US. I'm a former longshore worker, former private investigator, current civil rights lawyer. In case it helps you decide whether we'd get along, my job is 90% suing the police. But I'm proud to have a diversity of friends with a diversity of viewpoints, so I'm open to hearing yours, even if (especially if?) we disagree.
I read voraciously, watch a lot of films, and I'm a lover of the good things in life - food, drink, jokes, and the human imagination. We'll never run out of things to talk about. As Oscar Wilde said (didn't he say EVERYTHING?) "We were never bored because we were never boring."
Hit me up if any of this appeals to you - cheers!
