Hi there!! I’m looking for a penpal to chat/DM with on Reddit. I have mental health struggles (anxiety, depression) and sometimes feel like such a nag to constantly be venting to my real life friends. I would love to have someone to talk to about these things and also just become friends!! I’m not a sad sack all the time. I’m actually working hard to improve my outlook on life and practice more gratitude. I would love to have a supportive and open minded penpal that we can both share and be there for each other.

I also enjoy movies and tv shows (lately a lot of comedies to provide comfort), music (a wide variety but my favorite genre is probably alternative rock/indie pop). I love dogs a lot and also butterflies. I also like to cook and go to the beach. I’m a very altruistic person and love volunteering and doing small acts of kindness for others. I’m also an introvert and HSP (highly sensitive person).

I’m open with ages and locations, as long as you’re a genuine person and not judgmental. I can message sporadically throughout most days but evenings (PST) are when I would be available to actually chat back and forth in real time.
