Hi, potential friends!
I’m Lexi, a snail mail enthusiast since early childhood. My grandmother and aunt were my first pen pals and I’ve been growing my collection of letter writing friends over the years. I’ve noticed pen pals come and go over time, and currently I’m down to a small handful. I would love to grow that number again.
When I’m not sending snail mail over at r/randomactsofcards or right here in this sub, I am working as a community manager, reading (recently into sci-fi—Project Hail Mary and The Temps were my most recent reads and I am currently reading The Warehouse), cooking (vegan food!), running (lots of half marathons in the books and my first marathon to come in September), taking leisurely walks to look at all the cute local dogs, powerlifting and listening to podcasts.
I’d love to find someone to share podcast and book recommendations, recipes, stories of cute dogs or other cool things you saw while on a walk/run/drive, or really anything! I am open to learning about you in whatever form that takes.
Gender and age don’t matter to me and I don’t have a specific request for frequency and length of letters. I typically respond fairly quickly but don’t expect the same. I tend to write medium to long letters, but again, I don’t expect the same. Your style of pen paling is personal to you and I am cool with whatever. The only thing I am a stickler on is sticking to snail mail. I’ve tried email pen paling and it doesn’t click with me for some reason.
Cheers to the great world of snail mail! I can’t wait to connect with new pen pals.
