Good morning /r/penpals! I'm now approaching the 1 year anniversary of getting into this hobby, and I'm looking to celebrate with some new faces to send letters to!

Pen pals from all over the world (and within the US) are invited to message me if I sound like someone they'd like to exchange mail with, but I have particular interest in pen pals from anywhere in the continents of Africa and Australia/New Zealand/Tasmania. You see, this year I have made it my goal to exchange snail mail with all 7 continents- Including Antarctica- And only Africa and the Australian region remain!

I'm happy to exchange notes with absolutely anyone, with no preference for any gender, orientation, age, creed... You get the point. I enjoy sending decorated letters and often stickers, but don't require the same of my pen pals by any means. As long as there's a letter in the envelope, I'm happy!

About me- I'm a 30 year old married man from the States. I enjoy gardening, swimming, fishing, and hiking in warm weather; and spend my time nose in a book or game for most of the winter. I enjoy a wide variety of video games, and have a deep and abiding passion for tabletop gaming of all stripes from classic board games to cloak and dagger D&D campaigns!

I also love food and drink- I would be thrilled to talk about and exchange recipes for our favorite foods, cocktails, coffee, tea... I could go on, but I'll save a little something for the letters.
