Good morning Reddit! I have just recently discovered this sub and I'm already so excited. I have recently discovered that I like being in contact with people and hearing their stories, no matter where they're from. Plus, after moving around as much as I have I don't keep in touch with many people any longer- But I sure would like to fix that!

For starters, a little bit about me. I'm happily married to the love of my life, who enjoys rubber stamping and crafting so there's a possibility you might get neat handmade cards from time to time.

I'm an outdoor enthusiast that enjoys hiking, swimming, camping and fishing. It is my goal to see all the US National Parks!

I love to read, predominantly fiction. I adore fantasy, sci-fi, horror, and mystery. My favorite book series is The Dark Tower.

I don't watch very much TV but I'm open to suggestions from pen pals- I just tend to work a lot so it might take me a long time to get to them. When I do watch TV I enjoy dramas, sci-fi, and anime, plus some variety shows like 8 out of 10 Cats.

I love to cook, and will eagerly swap recipes with anyone and everyone- Most of mine are in Freedom Units but I can convert them as necessary. I also love coffee and tea, and will happily talk your ear off about them.

I also love music of almost all genres and am constantly looking to expand my horizons, so let's talk about that too.
