I'm trying to get more productive hobbies. I started making my own beer, I started a garden and everything died, now I want to try my hand at programming. What could go wrong?

I'm a computer guy, always getting asked IT questions at home and work. I'm mostly into the hardware aspect though. I'm learning the security part of it now. I like to build them, I want to build another one pretty soon. My first build is 9 years old which is about 100 in tech years.

I am big into fantasy and sci-fi books and movies. Harry Potter, LOTR, Alien, and The Expanse.

I have a PS4 and a Switch along with my PC. I like Skyrim, Fallout 4, 7 Days to Die (pc version), Resident Evil 2, and The Witcher 3. I play some FPS games but there is only so much you can do in those games.
