Hello, I'm a 27-year-old Canadian looking to make some new friends. I'd love to exchange letters and the occasional postcard. Some of my interests are animals, video games, and books! I've included more info below:
I have two guinea pigs at home and I work at a petting zoo, so I always have animal stories and cute pictures to share.
I'm mainly a PC gamer but I also have a Nintendo Switch. The best PC games of 2019 were (in my opinion) The Outer Worlds and Planet Zoo. On my Switch, I mostly play Stardew Valley, Picross, and Pokemon Shield.
To remind myself to devote more time to reading, which I love but often pass up in favour of gaming, I've committed to reading at least 26 books in 2020. It seems to be working because so far I'm at 4/26. My interests are all over the place, but lately I've been reading a lot about China. Here's what I'm reading right now:
- Last book read: "The Good Earth" by Pearl S. Buck
- Next up: "Women Talking" by Miriam Toews
- Current audiobook (bedtime story): "Lost and Found" by Orson Scott Card
Do you have questions about Canada? I've lived in three different provinces and each has its own unique charm. I'd love to tell you about life in Canada, and you can tell me about where you live.
If you think we'd click, please leave a comment or send me a message, and we can go from there.
Thanks for reading!
