... with a spoon, dry.
There. It's out: my quirky little secret. What's yours?
Many moons ago, I was big into letter-writing. Trips to the mailbox were as exciting as Christmas day. Would I receive a handmade card? A recipe passed down through generations? Musings of a past love? The mailbox was my oyster. As happens with time, I lost touch with many of my mail friends. I'd like to make more.
Who I Am:
I'm 23 (almost 24). Female. I live in the Pacific Northwest of the US.
My mornings start at 4 am with strength training. From the gym, I go back home to work as a legal assistant and community manager. I fit some cardio in at some point during the day to keep sane. Hiking, short runs, walks through fields. Coffee shops are where I usually write, just to get out of the house and around other people. Almost all of my meals are home-cooked. Vegan. When I feel like it, I read psychological thrillers... and ok, you got me, "chick flick-y" books too. I spend a lot of time by the ocean. I've sent over 2,000 pieces of mail through r/randomactsofcards and charity mail programs.
What I'm Looking For:
Male or female or non-disclosed. I'm open to all.
US-based.
Letters. Real paper letters. Cards are cool too, of course.
Whatever you have time for, in regard to frequency.
Secret-sharing. Not necessarily deep secrets, but quirky little secrets like I shared above. Deep secrets are cool too though.
Questions. Sometimes I don't know what to write. Ask me about my favorite vegetable, or what my first days were like on Reddit. Anything.
Let's dive in... like my spoon into a jar of powdered peanut butter.
