I realize this is a strange and uncommon request. Im unsure I will find what I am looking for here but it doesn't hurt to try.
I have a 7 year old daughter, whom is the sweetest little girl I know. She has some special needs, but she goes to a regular public school.
She has been struggling to fit in and make friends all year. She hid it from me for a little while, but I noticed behavioural and mood changes. She no longer wanted to go to school, or participate in anything her peers were doing.
She finally opened up about everything and I went up to the school. Things seemed like they were improving for a while.
Ive made the decision to let her finish this school year in public school and then try homeschooling next year.
I feel like some damage has been done and she would benefit from talking to someone who has been through something similar.
It can be someone her age, or someone older who has experience with being bullied.
I just want her to feel less alone.
If someone also would like to write to me and give me some encouragement or advice, as a young mother I would really appreciate that and be more then happy to write back to you. ❤
