As my title says, I am looking to find a pen-pal from another part of the world. I have lived the majority of my life in the US, but my origins hail from South America. I would be interested in finding a pen pal who is from a different part of the world, Europe, South America, Asia, Africa.. etc. I want to get a perspective different from my own. I also want to ask questions and inquire about what things occur in your life, your struggles, victories, and happy moments.

Sharing a bit about myself, I am a grad student in the North Eastern part of the U.S. I enjoy watching cultural and foreign films, as well as comedies and dramas. I came to the US at a young age, so my experience is mixed as I basically grew up here, but also observed the cultural differences of a generation that wanted to raise a child in the ways of their ancestors. I tend to consider myself American, but with South American roots. I also take great pride in my indigenous roots and history of my origin country. I am an avid journalist as well, I enjoy recording and taking photographs of my surroundings. I like to hope that when I would be able to share these materials with the pen pal or pen pals I find.
